Troll House Colour

Finished!  Kind of enjoyed the process of merging traditional art with digital painting in this way.
Photoshop CS5 and graphite pencil.

Sarco, the Mummy Cat

Finished at last.  Work on this was slow due to other obligations.  Probably not the best of my abilities but for a first with a tablet it's not bad I guess.

Sarco Development - Part 2

Applying the flats to the character outline was pretty much all I got the chance to do today.  I'm going for the whole traditional cel against a painted background look as I work towards the final piece.  Might tinker around with the pallet a little more before applying highlights but I may need to fix up the shadow on the sand.  Looks a little off somehow.

Sarco Development - Part 1

I finally got a Bamboo tablet for Christmas.  It's a lot more natural to draw with a pen and tablet then it is with a mouse so I'm feeling confident about my abilities already.
For a start I decided to paint in my line art for Sarco, the Mummy Cat.
