Mochi Mochi! - Galway Film Fleadh

My student film ‘Mochi Mochi!’ has recently been selected for screening at this year’s Galway Film Fleadh which takes place later this month.  It is to be shown under the ‘shorts’ category so here’s a sneak peak at Shiro the Japanese rabbit as she ventures into her examination.

Congratulations to my other fellow colleagues who have also had their shorts selected.

Scene 65 - Final BG and Character Render

What can be considered a final background for my student film since Shiro is pretty static in this scene.  It's virtually the same as the previous style test only with the perspective corrected and less wonky.

All that's next is to animate the hand reaching for the rabbit cake in TV Paint.

Usagi Girl

Long in the making:

Started this one a few months back. Since I had a bit of free time this week I decided I'd clean it up for funzies. Kind of regret the choice of angle since posing the hand was kind of awkward. Was also a pain doing the erasing and inking since I haven't practiced this sort of illustration in a while. Now that I look at it the floral stuff looks a tad busy for my liking. Oh well, happy enough with it at least. ===EDIT=== Got rid of some of the details on the flowers. Just didn't look right with them.
